The pinecones fed by the belt supplied (optional), are deposited by gravity on the first section of the sorter made up of a V-shaped stainless steel sheet structure on the bottom of which two parallel chains with central pegs slide.
This distance allows the transport of the agave pinecones, favoring their exit at the chosen area. The size of the agave pinecones is defined by means of a series of photocells.
The chains in this section are protected to avoid wear. The pinecones that are not expelled are transported to the next exit.
Two chains feed the three automatic machines.
At each outlet there are pneumatic cylinders which, based on the request and managed by the PLC, open the containment sides by dropping the agave pinecones into the feeding chute of the destination machine. In correspondence of each slide there is a photocell for the management of the workload.
